Un mare di fuoco

Many people filled the streets of Rimini for the start of the world’s longest New Year celebrations, this year dedicated to Maestro Federico Fellini given the centenary of his birth.

An extraordinary community started from Borgo San Giuliano: a horsewoman on a white horse, waders, winged dancers, policemen, musicians, carabinieri, tourists full of wonder, traffic wardens… a multitude of happy people as well as many jumping children.

This strange procession, lit by thousands of candles (the proceeds from the sale will go to support AROP – Rimini Association of Pediatric Oncohematology), arrived in the heart of the city, already illuminated by Fellini’s quotes, accompanied by the music of the Youth Band City of Rimini.
